Functionality
With fully automatic pointing the system is simple to set up and use. A simple user interface requires no special training but gives the operator full control if required.
A choice of controllers gives single button auto find on all and with options of manual control, two different displays and diagnostic capibilitys.
Design
The system has been designed taking into account Dawson's extensive experience to make the solution light, rugged and fast to deploy but wile still retaining the Dawson reputation for quality and value with the system costing a fraction of competitive equipment
Ease of use
The system operates from Dawson embedded software that is pre programmed to search for KA-SAT required satellite interfacing and controlling the modem. The operational interface is a button
Optionally the controller also provides manual control of the antenna if required as well as diagnostics to assist with the unlikely event of fault finding. There is even an option of a hand held controller that can be operated from outside the vehicle connected via a CAT 5 cable
Compatibility
With the system so light and compact it can be fitted to virtually any base vehicle. Customers have already chosen small hatchbacks to articulated trailers to fit the systems to. Its small surface area and wide base plate make the interface easy and fast to install.
